About Art Futures
In the context of growing ecological, social, and economic challenges, the topic of sustainability is also becoming increasingly important in the artistic field. Art can create critical awareness, reflect social developments, and open up new spaces for thought and action. But what responsibility do art and culture bear in the sustainability debate—and how can this be realized in concrete terms?
The green.office at Offenbach University of Art and Design invites you to explore these questions from an interdisciplinary perspective at a two-day symposium. The aim is to present possibilities for sustainable action in the arts and to reflect on them in dialogue with various positions from the art and culture sector.

Should contemporary art take a political stance?
Artistic positions – sustainability in the focus of artistic processes
