Review of anthology "Bruch und Kontinuität"

The current issue of the journal Texte zur Kunst (issue no. 135, September 2024) contains a review of the anthology edited by Felix Vogel and Maria Neumann Bruch und Kontinuität. Kunst und Kulturpolitik nach dem Nationalsozialismus.

The art historian Christian Saehrendt describes the book as a panorama of theses and themes and emphasizes the importance of coming to terms with the Nazi era for the art scene, especially the documenta. The volume sheds light on a previously little-researched field of art history that is more relevant today than ever.
