New Managing Director at the documenta Institut

We are pleased to announce that Michael Flörchinger has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the documenta Institut. 

Over the past five years, he has already played a key role in coordinating the documenta Institut and has been pivotal in shaping its organizational development. We are therefore all the more delighted that he will now be responsible for the strategic direction and further development of the documenta Institut in his new role and will actively help to shape it. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Jochen Dittmar. He performed the duties of Managing Director with great commitment during the interim phase and made a significant contribution to supporting and consolidating the still young documenta Institut gGmbH in its founding phase.

The appointment process for the Scientific Director, who will succeed Prof. Dr. Heinz Bude, is currently still ongoing.
